Sabarimala Online Queue Booking

The e-queue system at the Sabarimala Temple is the latest addition by the temple authorities. The new procedure helps devotees book their darshan tickets online. It is available during the Mandalam-Makaravilakku pilgrimage season that begins on November 17. Please remember that this facility is limited only to devotees who visit Sabarimala with Irumudikettu.

Registration and online booking are done on the Kerala Police website. At the temple, there will be a separate queue for those having booked thus, as this helps crowd management by the policemen. The devotees will have to present identity proof to be allowed in. The more-than-14-hour wait in the queues can be avoided. Such a venture will be of much help to unwell devotees, senior citizens and children.

According to the proposed system, pilgrims who have registered on the website will have to reach the Valiya Nadappanthal at the time allotted to them. They will be permitted to enter the general queue for darshan at the Lower Tirumuttom, bypassing the long queue along the trekking path-Valiya Nadappanthal stretch.

They should remember to bring the Identity Card used for registration when they come for Darshan. They should also being the q-coupon print-out with them. The scanned passport size photograph must be in jpg/ jpeg and size below 30kb. Children below 15 years are required to bring only a photograph for proof.
